Welcome to aesthetics by Karen Marlise, your exclusive boutique for laser hair removal, electrolysis, waxing, permanent cosmetics, hair, and skin care in the Tampa Bay area. I’m Karen, and I have been a cosmetologist, body waxier, aesthetician, hair specialist, color, perms and cuts since 1982. In 1993 I spent almost a year in Southern Calf. to train as a permanent cosmetic artist, electrologist and massage therapist. I have been adding to the training ever since. I am one of the most trained and skilled in Tampa Bay in the beauty business. I love my work, I work hard and believe in honest quality. I am not a nurse working for a plastic surgeon's side business or a nurse now in the beauty business like many medi-spas.

There is no law which requires a nurse to train in all areas of permanent hair removal like it does for the electrologist that does laser with 20 hours bi-annual in permanent hair removal and laser hair removal. My qualifications speak for themselves, but what really sets me apart from my competitors is the personal service my clients receive.

I live just one block from my office. So I am always reachable by a phone call 727-398-4187. And if I'm not in I forward all calls to my cell so I am always reachable. My clients mean everything to me. Everything is by appointment only so that I can devote 100 % to my clients.

I work a couple days a week with my supervising physician. He does photo facials, botox, fillers, erbium laser, spider vein removal, and many other aesthetic services. My clients always come first. I do my best to accommodate your schedule day, evenings and weekends.

When you make an appointment, you make it with me. When you come to my private salon, you see me. And when you have questions or concerns, you talk to me. When you visit my salon, it’s like visiting a friend!

Don’t get duped into using one of the big chain franchise “strip mall” laser hair removal salons, where you’ll speak to a different person every time you call, see a different person every time you visit, get the old runaround when you have questions or concerns, and get strong-armed into entering a contract that will have you paying for months of services, even if you never use them!
