Dr. Z. Catherine Navarro, Medical Director of The Vein Centre of the Palm Beaches, has devoted her career to educating patients about the prevention, detection and advanced treatment of varicose and spider veins. She has recognized the need for a true specialist in the field of Phlebology, a new area of medicine strictly devoted to the treatment of diseases of the veins. Her extensive credentials include Board Certification in Internal Medicine and membership in the International Academy of Phlebology. Dr. Navarro also holds degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University School of Medicine and the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Navarro has studied with the leaders in the field of sclerotherapy both in the United States and in Europe and lectures extensively on the subject. Dr. Navarro is also on staff at the leading hospitals in the Palm Beach area.
